The Magic of Love

love-making

Khalil Gibran writes…”But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls…”

Love, what a word, spoken through the ages, preached about by every known religion, and remains the cornerstone of what makes the world go round. Why then is it so damn HARD to FIND that elusive little bugger?

Many of us are lucky to just fall in love and then just remain there until our dying days. Others, myself included, seem to drift in and out of Lust, yet never seem to be able to attain the ultimate goal of Nirvana…WHY???

I realize that in today’s Society, it is easier to BELIEVE that we will fall in love quickly, all the while realizing that if it doesn’t work out, we can always call our handy dandy lawyers, and with just the stroke of a pen, null and void the whole thing. It seems like that there is always a fall back plan.

Sad really, isn’t it, today, we go into a relationship KNOWING that there is an out. What ever happened like in our parents’ day, you didn’t get married UNTIL you were sure. In THEIR minds, there WAS no out.

Regardless, love is still a beautiful thing, and a feeling that can’t be beaten by ANY others. It truly IS magic, and I sincerely hope that ALL of you at one time or another experience such an amazing feeling.

As for me, I am right here ladies, keep those cards and letters coming. Hehehehehe….

Until Later…
